How it works

From the first call to the final walk

The same crew from the tarp to the last coat of paint, and everything written down in between.

Emergency work comes first and is billed on its own line. The rebuild starts after your insurer has seen the damage and you have signed a written scope.

We pull the permits, schedule the inspections and tell you the dates.

Step by step

Seven steps after a storm

  1. 01

Step 1: Call or text photos

Tell us what happened, and the year the house was built. The tarp line is open day and night.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Cover the opening

Tarp or plywood, photographed before and after.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Open the claim

You do this with your insurer. We send you the photos and the list of what we covered.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Meet the adjuster

We can walk the house with them if you ask us to.

  5. 05

Step 5: Written scope and estimate

Line by line, with permits and drying on their own lines.

  6. 06

    Step 6: Permits and schedule

We pull the permits and give you the inspection dates.

  7. 07

Step 7: Rebuild and final walk

Roof, rooms, windows and stucco, then a walk through with you.

Questions

About the rebuild

Can I live in the house during the rebuild?

Often yes, in the dry rooms. Your policy may also cover a place to stay; ask your insurer. We tell you which rooms to avoid and for how long.

Who will be on my roof?

Our own roofing crew, led by a foreman you meet before the work starts.

What if you find more damage?

We stop, photograph it, and write the new line before anything is done.
