Ceilings, walls and stucco
Ceilings, walls and stucco rebuilt to match
Once the roof is closed and the rooms are dry, we put the house back: drywall, texture, paint and stucco.
We hang, tape, texture and paint the ceilings and walls we took out, and paint corner to corner so the repair doesn't show as a patch. Outside, stucco is patched in layers and finished to match the texture around it.
We show you a test patch of stucco and paint before we finish the wall.
What's included
Ceilings and walls hung, taped, textured and painted
Stucco patched in layers to match the texture
Painting corner to corner, not only the patch
Insulation replaced where it was removed
Trim and baseboards reset

What changes the cost
Matching takes more time than the patch itself.
How much surface
A ceiling or a whole room, inside or out.
The texture
Smooth, orange peel, knockdown or sand-finish stucco each take different work.
The paint match
Old paint fades, so the wall is painted corner to corner.
Height and access
High ceilings and second-floor walls take scaffolding or lifts.
How it goes
How a ceiling and stucco job goes
- 01
Step 1: Confirm it is dry
No drywall goes up until the readings are good.
- 02
Step 2: Hang and finish
Boards hung, taped and textured in coats that need time to dry.
- 03
Step 3: Paint and trim
Primer and two coats, corner to corner.
- 04
Step 4: Stucco and final walk
Test patch approved by you, then the finish coat.
Permits and rules
Interior patching and painting usually need no permit. Wall framing, insulation changes and structural repairs do, and we pull it.
In a home built before 1978, we follow the EPA's rules before we sand or scrape painted surfaces.
Questions
Common questions
Can you match my stucco?
We match texture and color as closely as old stucco allows, and show you a test patch first.
Why paint the whole wall?
A new patch of paint on an old wall shows. Painting corner to corner hides the seam.
Is my home built before 1978?
Tell us the year. Homes built before 1978 may have lead in old paint, and that changes how we prepare the surface.
Ready to put the house back?
Send photos of the ceiling or wall and the year the house was built.
